Alien3 Queen chestburster statue review

Alien3 might not have been the best Alien film (it certainly wasn't the worst), but the latest statue from Palisades based on the poster image is one of the best of the series. It's the first statue in awhile that really wowed me, mostly because rather than simply recreating a character in a dynamic pose, it transcends the license and dips into the world of actual art.

I saw that yesterday and wasn't overly impressed, even though Alien3 is my favourite one in the series... I think it's the base I don't care for... the one I saw looked more like it was sitting on a lava flow...
